Guilty on all six charges is the verdict for the man who killed a well-known Renfrew couple in an accident near Carp nearly three years ago.
According to the Renfrew Mercury, Justice Anne London-Weinstein rendered her verdict in an Ottawa courtroom today.
Some 20 supporters of Douglas and Joan Foster, who died at the scene of the Dec. 4, 2016 collision were on hand as the judge delivered her verdict.
John Anstie, who is known to have suffered from an opiod addiction, was found guilty of two counts each of dangerous operation of a motor vehicle causing death, impaired operation of a motor vehicle causing death and criminal negligence causing death.
The case drew national media attention, in part because the notorious painkiller fentanyl played a central role.
The counts carry a maximum of between ten and fourteen years in jail.
Sentencing will occur at a later date.
