Police in the Upper Ottawa Valley say they have collared a couple of thirsty thieves. OPP responded to an alarm call at the Pembroke Beer Store at 5AM on the morning of July 16th. Police say they arrived to find two 19 year-old City residents. Police say the business had been broken into and the two were in possession of beer and merchandise. 19-year-old Donavon Henry-Keeping and 19-year-old Matthew John Rourke have been charged with break, enter and commit an indictable offence, theft under $5000 and possession of break-in instruments. Henry-Keeping faces an additional count of breach of a recognizance. Following a bail hearing they were relased on promise to appear in Pembroke Court August 6th.
