Whitewater Region Township staff and Council are now on the same page as Olmstead-Jeffrey Lake residents concerning the reconstruction of their road.
This comes after a delegation addressed Council July 3rd, with its concerns over plans to see portions of the roadway revert to a gravel surface.
Chief Administrative Officer-Clerk Robert Tremblay says plans have now been revised.
He outlines what they need to do.
The CAO says the original idea was to go back to the gravel surface as an interim measure while the Township confirmed its eligibility for a new grant stream.
Tremblay said residents made their point at the last Council meeting, and only some cold patching will be carried out in 2019.
