Two teenage girls who were missing in Algonquin Park have been found safe. The OPP confirmed this afternoon that the 16 year olds were tracked down by a canine team just before noon. The girls from the Kitchener area were found “great” condition. At the time, OPP spokesperson Bill Dickson didn’t know exactly where they were found or how far it was from where they were supposed to meet up with the rest of the group they were camping with. The girls were reported missing on Friday after they failed to show up to the meeting site. Police had said both girls are experienced campers and had a tent with limited supplies.
