The Deep River and District Hospital is getting closer to its $1.75 million fundraising goal with the ever popular Catch the Ace draw. Money raised from the weekly lottery will be used to purchase new Xray and ultrasound equipment. The last catch the ace lottery went to week #50 with a jackpot prize of $576,000. This time around, the lottery is continuing to grow according to hospital board member, Jim Gibson.
It’s now week 15. Tickets are $5 each with one dollar from every ticket sold going to the weekly lottery, which take place every Thursday night. Ticket sales are available at both Pembroke Malls, Gear Heads in Petawawa, Shear Maddness, Razors Edge, Drea’s Barbershop in Petawawa and many places around Deep River.
