A Quyon man is facing some serious charges following an incident over the long weekend. According to the Renfrew OPP, they were called to a collision on Calabogie Road in Greater Madawaska township on Sunday. Following their investigation, police charged 30 year old Joshua Matechuck with theft of a motor vehicle, operation while impaired, possession of property obtained by crime over $5000 and failure or refusal to comply with a demand. He was released on a promise to appear and returns to court July 17.
