Horton Township residents have given their current mayor an electoral stamp of approval by electing her to lead council for the next four years.
Daina Proctor won Monday’s election with over a thousand votes.
We caught up with Proctor at the Horton Community Centre, where supporters were gathered when results came down around 11 o’clock Monday night.
Proctor was appointed mayor just one year ago after the exit of the previous mayor, so the vote of confidence meant a lot to her. Looking ahead to the next term, she’s got her to-do list all ready to go.
