Ontario Provincial Police Auxiliary members will be joining forces across the province this Saturday for a one-day food drive supporting local food banks.
Operation FULL PLATE takes place October 3rd, bringing Auxiliary members and community members together to help address food insecurity in communities throughout Ontario.
The OPP Auxiliary Program has been serving communities for more than 65 years. Organizers say Operation FULL PLATE continues that tradition by supporting local food banks and helping provide essential supplies to people facing food insecurity.
Members of the public are encouraged to take part by donating non-perishable food items and other essential goods at participating collection locations, including at Chris and Tanya’s No Frills on O’Brien Road in Renfrew.
