Saturday morning will be an important moment for Chris and Tanya’s No Frills in Renfrew.
Store staff and local dignitaries will be on hand ahead of the store’s 7:00 am opening to celebrate its official grand reopening after a months-long renovation that has brought major changes throughout the store, from an improved layout in their central groceries aisles to the addition of a community room and a section of the store dedicated to their PC Express online delivery platform.
Co-owner Chris Wojcik says smaller changes to the store have happened since he and wife Tanya took over, but they felt that they needed to go bigger to get it right.
The duo were busy on social media throughout the renovation, providing regular updates on the changes as they happened while crews worked behind the scenes to keep the experience smooth for customers right up to the finished product.
Wojcik adds that the early start to Saturday’s festivities may be a little unusual for those attending, but it was an important decision to ensure that they could involve as much of their staff in the celebration as possible.
Customers who want to sleep in don’t have to worry about missing out on too much, as the store will have plenty on offer throughout the day.
There will also be surprise giveaways, gift basket raffles, a chance to catch up with the banana mascot, and a fun interactive Lego building workshop for kids.
