Renfrew Victoria Hospital has started the week by welcoming another new member to their team.
Dr. Artabaz Nazari is expected to start a family practice inside Renfrew’s Health Village, providing primary care for patients in the community. He will also support the hospital by providing coverage in their emergency department and clinical services in ambulatory care, medical day care, hospitalist care, complex continuing care, and surgical assist.
Dr. Nazari, who grew up in the Ottawa area, completed his residency with the NH Dartmouth Family Medicine Residency program in Concord, New Hampshire. He earned his doctorate from the American University of the Caribbean School of Medicine and holds graduate and undergraduate degrees in biology and psychology from the University of New Brunswick-Saint John.
Updating the community on social media, the hospital says Dr. Nazari looks forward to starting his practice in a rural setting while also being close to his family.
