Renfrew’s Home Hardware store has helped fill backpacks for local kids in need.
The local store is one of 13 in the province owned by Dan and Emily Moulton, and all combined, they donated 1,200 backpacks through an annual initiative that partners with schools, youth organizations and community agencies.
“We know many local families continue to face financial challenges, and the cost of preparing children for a new school year can add even more pressure,” said Dan Moulton, Dealer-Owner. “We’re proud to support families in the communities we serve and hope these backpacks and school supplies help give local students a positive start
to the year.”
The backpacks filled with essential school supplies will be distributed locally through the Renfrew County Youth Wellness Hub.
