With the municipal elections a little more than a month away, Renfrew residents should make sure their information is in order ahead of voting.
Electors within the community can still add their name to the Town of Renfrew’s voters list, update their information, and request the removal of their name by filling out the appropriate forms with town staff.
Completed forms can be submitted in person, alongside the required proof of information at Town Hall, 127 Raglan St. South. Residents can also print and complete the form, sign it by hand, and send a scanned copy alongside the required information to the clerk’s office. Digital signatures will not be accepted.
Voting help stations have also been set up at Town Hall, as well as the myFM Centre (1 Ma-te-Way Park Dr.) and the Renfrew Public Library (13 Railway Ave.) to assist with the process.
Eligible voters should expect to receive a Voter Information Letter with instructions on how to vote in early October, ahead of the voting period starting on Tuesday, October 13, at 8:00 am.
