Just one week after hosting one the longest-running fairs in the Ottawa Valley, the Renfrew Fairgrounds will host another big event.
The Cruise In for Cancer returns this Saturday, September 19, with the same important mission as Ken Riopelle and family: welcome fans of classic cars back for another year supporting a cause close to their hearts.
Car owners across the Ottawa Valley will have hundreds of classic makes and models on display plus a wide array of wonders and oddities, making the event a must-see for the region’s passionate automotive enthusiasts.
It’s a free day for spectators to come and enjoy the cruisers, with vendors and a swap meet also on site, making it a full event to come see, shop, and spend some time under hopefully sunny skies.
Riopelle adds that those interested in showing off their own cars are welcome to show up while space is available that morning.
Admission is $10 per vehicle, and guests interested in supporting the Cancer Society of Canada can make donations while at the event.
