Here’s what will be open and closed as we celebrate the unofficial end to Summer on Labour Day Monday, September 7:
Many stores and groceries will keep the doors closed on Monday, including Wal-Mart, Metro, Giant Tiger, and Chris and Tanya’s No Frills.
Anyone looking to pick up some refreshments should do so ahead of the statutory holiday, as both the Beer Store and LCBO will be closed for all of Monday.
Rexall will be open from 9:00am to 6:00pm on Monday, while Aikenheads pharmacy will be closed.
Also closed for Monday will be Renfrew’s Town Hall, the myFM Centre, and the Public Library, and you can expect the post office and mail carriers to take the day off as well.
