A massive amount of money could be in the cards for one lucky winner this Thursday evening.
Eric Hoffman of Renfrew took home the weekly prize in last week’s Renfrew Victoria Hospital Foundation Catch the Ace lottery draw, winning $2,480 for revealing the 8 of Clubs.
That means the Ace of Spades remains hidden with just half the deck left to draw, and the jackpot is expected to exceed $70,000 at their Week 27 draw.
Players can watch as that draw is streamed live on the Foundation’s Facebook page at 5:00 pm this Thursday, August 20.
So far, the current run of Catch the Ace has raised $102,323, which will support vital equipment purchases and upgrades through the hospital’s Equip RVH project.
Tickets remain on sale online and at select retailers in the lead up to the draw.
