TODAY: Music comes to Mallard’s Milk Bar in Arnprior this Friday! Ottawa Valley-native singer-songwriter Vicki Brittle performs a live intimate concert at the Milk Bar, 55 John St. North, starting at 7:00 pm. Tickets: $20.
TODAY: The Downtown Renfrew BIA presents the Heart of Renfrew Market every Friday evening from 5:00 to 8:00 pm in July and August. Low Square will transform into a vibrant gathering place featuring local farmers, artisans, makers, and small businesses from across the Ottawa Valley. Plus, stick around for their weekly Music in the Square concert.
TODAY: The annual Hospice Renfrew Golf Classic returns to the Renfrew Golf Club this Friday, August 14! $165/person – includes 18 holes with cart, lunch and banquet meal. TOMORROW: The Whitewater Region Community Day comes to the Beachburg Agricultural Society this Saturday! Lots of family friendly fun, a community BBQ while supplies last, a mega touch-a-truck event, live music, volunteer group expo, and more from 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM
TOMORROW: The Algonquins of Pikwakanagan First Nation hosts their annual Pow-Wow this weekend, August 15th and 16th, at their cultural grounds. Grand Entry begins both days at 12:00 pm. This year’s theme is “Honour our Elders.” Free admission, but donations are welcome.
TOMORROW: The Knights of the Inferno Motorcycle Club invite you to join their Ride for Jacob at Chris and Tanya’s No Frills in Renfrew this Saturday! Classic cars and motorcycles can join the procession for a $20 donation. Registration at 9:00 am with a show and shine at 11:00 am. Proceeds supporting Jacob in his rehabilitation journey.
THIS MONTH: The Cobden, Arnprior, and Renfrew Agricultural Societies present the Renfrew County Fair Jackpot 50/50. Proceeds from the raffle support community events and invest in improvements for all three volunteer-led organizations. Buy your tickets online, at the Cobden Fair August 28-30, or the Renfrew Fair September 10-13.
