A major milestone has been hit for gastroenterology at the hospital in Arnprior.
The Arnprior Regional Health Foundation held a ribbon cutting barbeque on Thursday, August 13th to celebrate the Scope for Hope endoscopy campaign hitting 100% of their planned goal.
Started over a year ago in April of 2025, the campaign focused on raising $800,000 to replace the hospital’s aging endoscopy equipment.
In January, the hospital put new equipment into service in the hopes of reaching their goal, and they did just that.
Patients are already commenting on how the new equipment relieves their anxiety through the process.
