Local community groups have another chance to upgrade the events and programs that matter to Renfrew residents.
The town has opened intake for a second round of their community partner grants, offering nonprofits up to $5,000 to support their initiatives in one of five categories:
• Fee Waiver/Facility Use
• One-Time Capital Projects
• Organization Support/Operating Grant
• Programming/Special Event
• Sponsorship
Qualified applicants must operate in Renfrew. They will be required to show how their organization meets a need in the community, demonstrate their need for funding, and be willing to share financial statements and annual project budgets with town staff.
Submissions will be evaluated by a team consisting of the mayor, council members, the chief administrative officer, the treasurer, the director of community and recreation services, and the community outreach and programs supervisor.
Applications may be submitted online, and paper copies are available at Town Hall and the myFM Centre ahead of the September 15 deadline.
