Highway 17 has reopened between Wiley Road and Chalk River.
The road closed earlier today after a collision involving a transport truck downed power lines in the area.
Power is still out for many residents in Chalk River and at the crash site where Wiley Road and the highway connect, motorists can currently expect single-lane alternating traffic as crews continue their work to restore power for residents.
Officers reported no injuries as a result of the collision.
More updates are expected as the situation develops.
