Renfrew’s young golfers had a weekend to remember on the links at the Renfrew Golf Club.
Andrew Enright claimed this year’s Junior Boys championship, defeating Brennan Pole in a playoff on Friday. In the Junior Girls Championship, Abbie Miller won for her fourth and final time as she prepares to join the Trent University golf team in the fall.
Meanwhile, Pole would return to the course on Sunday to win the RGC Men’s Championship, eagling on 18 to take the title in a playoff against Terry Pitt.
On the ladies side, Julie Bonsor claimed her second RGC Ladies’ Championship with a come-from-behind victory on Sunday.
