Residents of the Ottawa Valley are being asked to keep an eye out for a federal offender wanted on a Canada-wide warrant who is known to frequent the Ottawa area.
Ontario’s Repeat Offender Parole Enforcement (R.O.P.E.) Squad is seeking the public’s help in locating 55-year-old Rejean Hermel Perron, who is wanted for allegedly breaching the conditions of his statutory release.
Perron is serving a sentence of six months and 27 days for three counts of breaching a long-term supervision order, as well as obstructing a peace officer.
Police say he is known to spend time in Ottawa, as well as the Greater Toronto Area, Kingston and Timmins.
Perron is described as a white man standing about 157 centimetres (5-foot-1) tall and weighing approximately 55 kilograms (121 pounds). He has brown hair and blue eyes.
Anyone who sees Perron or has information about his whereabouts is asked not to approach him. Instead, they are urged to contact the Provincial R.O.P.E. Squad, Crime Stoppers or call 911.
