TODAY: Join the McNab/Braeside Weekly Paddle Group every Monday morning at Burnstown Beach for a relaxed kayaking or paddleboarding outing. The free, social group welcomes all skill levels and offers a chance to enjoy the outdoors, meet new people, and take in the scenery at a leisurely pace.
TODAY: The Arnprior Public Library welcomes kids in their Summer Reading Club for a day of Wacky Science starting at 10:00 am this Monday, July 27. Science so fun, you won’t even realize you’re learning something! Registration is required.
TODAY: Cold Bear Brewery in Arnprior hosts their new cornhole league Monday nights at 6:00 pm! The greatest athletes in Arnprior and the surrounding area will gather at their Madawaska Blvd. location to compete for a Cold Bear gift card. Games will be played in teams of 2, sign up as a team for $5. Plus, BBQ will be available as a dinner option on Monday nights!
TOMORROW: The Renfrew County Virtual Triage and Assessment Centre welcomes the public to joint them for a special presentation at the Golden Age Activity Centre in Renfrew this Tuesday, July 28 from 1:00 pm to 2:45 pm. Learn about the incredible services that Renfrew County Virtual Triage & Assessment Centre has to offer!
TOMORROW: The Renfrew Public Library hosts a weekly technology workshop every Tuesday at 1:00 pm. Come with questions and problems and learn the basics of computers, tablets, and phones. For ages 18+.
TOMORROW: Tickets go on sale in Arnprior this Tuesday, July 28, as the Nick Smith Centre gets ready to host the Ottawa 67’s against local phenom Kaden McGregor and the Peterborough Petes on September 5. The event is part of the arena’s grand reopening weekend. Only 850 tickets will be available at $25+ tax each. Watch the town of Arnprior’s website for updates.
