The Town of Renfrew is looking to hear from the public as it reshapes how it supports investment and development within the community.
A survey has been released by town staff ahead of their review of their existing Community Improvement Plan, with residents and local businesses welcome to give their input ahead of July 26.
Renfrew’s current CIP has been in place since 2015, setting the town’s priorities for promoting economic development and revitalization by funding community improvement projects through financial incentives such as grants and reduced fees.
The town says their review of the plan will focus on identifying opportunities to attract investment for new and existing commercial businesses and industries, support new housing development, rehabilitate designated heritage sites, and help businesses make accessibility improvements.
