Arnprior will get a taste of OHL hockey this September.
The Ottawa 67s and Peterborough Petes will play an exhibition game at the Nick Smith Centre on September 5th at 4 o’clock.
Braeside’s Kaden McGregor, who was drafted 1st overall by the Petes in 2025, is expected to play for Peterborough.
Recreation Director Graeme Ivory says it’s an exciting opportunity for fans to be able to watch a player who grew up playing in that arena.
The game also coincides with the grand opening for the newly revitalized arenas.
There are 850 tickets available to the public and they go on sale next Tuesday, July 28 at 9:00 am.
Tickets are general admission and will cost $25.00+HST and you can get them at http://www.Arnprior.ca/67sGame.
Doors will open on game day at 2:30 p.m. so fans can enjoy time at the FanFest in the community hall, watchwarm-ups and enjoy other activities throughout the facility.
Ivory adds they do need volunteers for that day. If anyone is able to help, they can sign up through the town’s website.
