A new online hub will allow the public to buy and sell while supporting local health care.
The Renfrew Victoria Hospital Foundation has launched their new Facebook marketplace, which Executive Director Patti Dillabough says has already put the first batch of treasures donated from the community up for sale in support of patient care.
Friends of RVH are encouraged to join the group and explore what is available, as every purchase is a fun and easy way to make a difference by funding some crucially needed items currently on the hospital’s wish list.
Donations will be accepted at the foundation’s office inside RVH weekdays from 8:30 am to 4:00 pm, with the foundation team updating the marketplace regularly to ensure that there are always new finds for people to discover.
The marketplace is one of many ongoing foundation projects supporting quality care in the area, including their weekly Catch the Ace Lottery draws.
