In case you missed it last month, there’s a new ownership group at the helm of the Renfrew Wolves.
The Central Canada Hockey League’s board of directors has approved the sale of the Junior A hockey franchise to Todd Perry, Tina Perry, Carl Robillard, and Michelle Brasseur-Robillard, with the new ownership group assuming control on June 13.
In addition, Carl Robillard has been appointed general manager and will oversee hockey operations and player personnel decisions moving forward.
“We are honoured to assume ownership of the Renfrew Wolves and to build upon the strong foundation that has been established,” said Todd Perry. “Our priority is to support our players, coaches, and staff while fostering a culture of accountability, development, and community engagement. We look forward to working closely with the CCHL and our local partners to ensure the continued success of junior hockey in Renfrew.”
In a statement, the CCHL says Todd and Tina Perry bring experience in business management, education, and minor hockey. Their background in strategic planning and organizational leadership is expected to support the team’s stability, strengthen its operations, and encourage sustainable growth.
They add that Carl Robillard and Michelle Brasseur-Robillard contribute significant junior hockey experience, including management, scouting, player recruitment, roster development, and hockey operations. Their expertise is expected to help guide the team’s competitive direction and day-to-day hockey operations.
The league also credits the former as instrumental for bringing the franchise to Renfrew and establishing the club in the community, while placing an emphasis on player development and creating opportunities for athletes to grow on and off the ice.
