TODAY: Renfrew’s youth can get some gym time in today at the myFM Centre! The town will open up the Home Hardware Gymnasium to the public for a free session every Monday from 5:00 to 7:00 pm. Ages 8+, registration required. Stick around afterward for a game of pick-up basketball from 7:00 to 9:00 pm for just $2 per person. Ages 13+, sign up online.
TODAY: McNab/Braeside’s ParticipACTION Community Challenge continues with another Game-On Challenge! This Monday, June 22, head to the John A Gillies Centre for a FREE table tennis session from 4:00 to 6:00 pm. Join friends and neighbours in helping the township become Canada’s Most Active Community! Register online.
TOMORROW: Enterprise Renfrew County presents a Free Webinar on Workplace Safety Essentials: A practical guide to identify common hazards, summer safety, understanding roles and responsibilities, and essential resources to support your health and safety. Tuesday, June 23 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am. Register online.
TOMORROW: The Renfrew Public Library hosts a weekly technology workshop every Tuesday at 1:00 pm. Come with questions and problems and learn the basics of computers, tablets, and phones. For ages 18+.
TOMORROW: Get ready to play one of the world’s fastest growing sports! Pickleball is played every Tuesday from 7:00 PM – 9:00 PM at the myFM Centre. Sign up for $4/session online.
