The OPP is inviting young people who live in the Renfrew and Arnprior detachment area to apply for a rewarding summer job.
The Renfrew OPP Detachment is now accepting applications for the 2026 Youth in Policing Initiative, which is a paid 40 hours a week, 8-week summer position for July and August.
The idea is to give a teen hands-on experience in policing, teamwork, leadership, and community engagement.
To be eligible, applicants must be between 15 and 18 years of age and currently enrolled in high school. They must also be eligible to work in Canada and must be able to pass a background clearance.
