Excitement is growing as one of the Renfrew Victoria Hospital Foundation’s most popular events returns this Friday.
The RVH Golf Classic will entertain another sold-out day at the Renfrew Golf Club on June 12, according to Foundation Executive Director Patti Dillabough. She says people have been on the waitlist since the start of March just for the chance to enjoy what has become the hospital’s trademark community fundraiser.
A new addition to this year’s tournament is the hospital’s Legacy on the Green tribute, which has given the community and local businesses a chance to mark the hospital’s 100th anniversary while investing in its future.
RVH relies on the Golf Classic as one of its most consistent and effective fundraisers every year, and Dillabough says the expectations are that this year will not disappoint.
People wishing to contribute to the #EquipRVH campaign can sponsor their own legacy on the green signage for $100 each, which will be on display along the Renfrew Golf Club cart paths during the event.
