A pair of Chartwell Retirement Residences in the Ottawa Valley will be changing hands in early June.
Chartwell will no longer operate their Quail Creek residence in Renfrew and their Pinewood residence in Pembroke effective June 3rd.
The two homes were listed in Chartwell’s outgoing property in their first-quarter report for 2026, and is part of a broader decision by Chartwell to transition away from nine Ontario properties.
It is expected that Prima Living will take over management duties.
It’s not clear at this time how operations at the Ottawa Valley residences may be affected by the change.
