myFM’s Rock the Block Dance Party sent the crowd home happy on Saturday night, but one lucky winner left the happiest of all.
Over 500 people gave glowing reviews after packing the dance floor inside the Renfrew Wing for an amazing night of classic hits and good vibes with The Bomb – A Retro 80’s Live Experience on May 29th.
The night was particularly special for Cheryl Essiambre, who was elated to head home with $2,500 cash, two $1,000 shopping sprees in Pembroke and Renfrew, and $500 in restaurant gift cards as part of the party’s big prize draw.
She also admits that her night could have been far less exciting were it not for a little last-minute convincing from her friends to cut loose.
The party was made all the more special thanks to the community in and around Renfrew, who were quick to congratulate Essiambre for her stroke of luck.
Another big winner at the Rock the Block dance party was AnnMarie McHale, who won $1885 as part of the Renfrew Victoria Hospital Foundation’s 50/50 draw.
