RCDSB Students pitch their products ahead of their Entrepreneurial Market on May 19 (Renfrew County School Board Photo)
Local students have put their passions into motion ahead of the chance to show off to the community.
The Renfrew County District School Board’s Entrepreneurs for Change student market will feature 88 student entrepreneurs from McNab Public School, A.J. Charbonneau Public School, and Renfrew Collegiate Institute selling 25 unique products inside the Arnprior Parish Hall on Tuesday, May 19.
Inspired Learning Coach Carolyn Neill says the day will be the end result of a major project that has required participants to think outside the comforts of the classroom.
Neill has been thrilled to watch students go from the design phase to finished products as the project has progressed, leading to the market, and gives a lot of credit to the teachers who have taken that journey with them.
Community members are welcome to drop by the Parish Hall from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm that afternoon to meet with the students, shop from a wide variety of items, and both celebrate and support their creativity.
Proceeds from the RCDSB Entrepreneurial Market will support local schools and charities.
