TODAY: The Parents’ Voice – Shawville Area, 244 Rue Main, Shawville, will host a fun and interactive 1‑hour planting workshop with Lindsay Hamilton from Homegrown! Kids will learn meaningful gardening tips and get hands‑on experience planting their very own creation. Every child will go home with a pot and a new plant to care for. 6:00 pm at the Shawville Lodge this Tuesday, May 12th. $20 per child. Ages 5+, with parental supervision and assistance encouraged. TOMORROW: Join the Renfrew Public Library for their after school hang! Drop in from 3:00 to 4:45 pm each Wednesday to compete on the Switch, play board games, eat snacks, and hang out! Ages 8-14.
TOMORROW: Our Lady of Fatima Church in Renfrew is hosting a monthly Friendship Lunch this Wednesday at 100 Lisgar Avenue. Students from St. Joseph’s High School and members of the OLF Catholic Women’s League will offer up a free lunch between 11:30 am and 12:30 pm. All are welcome!

Renfrew Minor Baseball will start its season over the week of May 11th, with games for all ages groups getting underway at the following locations: T-Ball – May 13 5:00 to 6:00 pm @ Tye Diamond. Rookie: May 12 5:00-6:00 pm @ Tye Diamond. Minor: May 12 and 14 6:30 – 8:30 pm @ Tye Diamond. Major: May 11 and 13 6:30 – 8:00 pm @ Tye Diamond. Junior: May 12 and 14 6:30 – 8:00 pm @ Seely Diamond.
Renfrew Minor Soccer will host a Referees meeting at the arena at 5:30 pm on Wednesday, May 13th.
