Every Friday morning from 9:30 to 11:30 at 586 Rue Main, Shawville, kids ages 0 to 5 and their Moms or other caregivers can spend quality time playing, reading, doing crafts, eating snacks, socializing, etc. with each other and other members of the community. TODAY: Renfrew and Area Seniors Home Support will draw for its Mother’s Day Gift Basket Raffle on May 8th! Tickets are $5 each and available at the Golden Age Activity Centre, 212 Raglan St. South, or by calling the office at 613-366-4747 with a credit card. Proceeds support activities and programming for both groups.
TOMORROW: The Renfrew Public Library’s Jail and Bail Fundraiser gets underway this Saturday from 10:00 to 1:00 pm! myFM reporter Kasey Egan and other notable Renfrew names will be locked up in the Programming room of the library, trying to make their $300 dollar bail! Proceeds will go towards replacing missing or stolen technology at the library. Cash donations and e-transfer options available at the library.
TOMORROW: Scott and Son’s Hardware on Raglan Street South will host a Bake sale for Charm Cat Rescue this Saturday from .. All sorts of home made goodies.. All money & donations go to the Cats for food and vet bills … bake goods were donated as well
TOMORROW: Camp Legewade invites you to another work day this Saturday! Volunteers can drop by the camp on 1017 A Fraser Road in Greater Madawaska starting at 9:00 am to help get the camp ready for the summer. Tasks include: wood cutting, painting, chipping, yard clean up, drywall, cleaning, and other miscellaneous tasks. Lunch Provided! Email camplegewade@hotmail.com to confirm your attendance.

Renfrew Minor Baseball will start its season over the week of May 11th, with games for all ages groups getting underway at the following locations: T-Ball – May 13 5:00 to 6:00 pm @ Tye Diamond. Rookie: May 12 5:00-6:00 pm @ Tye Diamond. Minor: May 12 and 14 6:30 – 8:30 pm @ Tye Diamond. Major: May 11 and 13 6:30 – 8:00 pm @ Tye Diamond. Junior: May 12 and 14 6:30 – 8:00 pm @ Seely Diamond.
Renfrew Minor Soccer will host a Referees meeting at the arena at 5:30 pm on Wednesday, May 13th.
