TODAY: Get some gym time in today at the myFM Centre! The town will open up the Home Hardware Gymnasium to the public for a free session every Monday from 5:00 to 7:00 pm. Ages 8+, registration required. Stick around afterward for a game of pick-up basketball from 7:00 to 9:00 pm for just $2 per person. Ages 13+, sign up online.
TODAY: Join Instructor Samm for Boot Camp at the Murray Yantha Centre in McNab Braeside! Monday evenings at 6:00 pm, Samm hosts a fun and supportive workout experience alongside friends and neighbours! This program is designed to help you build strength, improve mobility, and boost overall fitness, keeping you active and healthy. May 4th is the first of a three week program, which costs $30+tax/person. Be sure to bring indoor running shoes, water, a yoga mat, and a positive attitude!
TODAY: The Eganville Legion, 57 Veteran’s Way, hosts 6 Hand Euchre every Monday from 1:00 to 4:00 pm! Join friends and family at the legion for a fast-paced and strategic game that will test your teamwork. For more information, call 613-628-2802
TOMORROW: Enjoy Pizza for a Purpose on May 5th! Treat your family to a delicious pizza while supporting a great cause! Purchase any large cheese or pepperoni pizza for just $12, and Domino’s will donate $5 to the Renfrew Amateur Wrestling Club. Every dollar raised will help us cover the expenses of sending our dedicated athletes to Halifax, Nova Scotia, for this year’s Canada East Youth Wrestling Tournament!
TOMORROW: Are you looking for help with technology? Want to learn the basics of computers, tablets and phones? Stop by the Renfrew Public Library every Tuesday from 1:00 to 2:30 pm for help with technology. Come with questions and problems! Register online to reserve your spot, drop ins welcome! For ages 18+. Register online.
THIS WEEK: Renfrew and Area Seniors Home Support will draw for its Mother’s Day Gift Basket Raffle on May 8th! Tickets are $5 each and available at the Golden Age Activity Centre, 212 Raglan St. South, or by calling the office at 613-366-4747 with a credit card. Proceeds support activities and programming for both groups.

Renfrew Minor Baseball has released it’s Week 1 Schedule, with all age groups starting their season between May 6th and May 9th: T-ball– Wednesday 5:30 to 6:30, Rookie– Tuesday 5 to 6:30, Minor– Tuesday and Thursday 6:30-8, Major– Monday and Wednesday 6:30-8 , Jr/Sr– Tuesday and Thursday 6:30-8
Renfrew Minor Soccer will host a Meet the Coaches night at the myFM Centre from 6:00 – 7:30 pm on Monday, May 4th. There will also be a Referees meeting at the arena at 5:30 pm on Wednesday, May 13th.
The Renfrew Vipers Amateur Wrestling Club heads to Windsor, Nova Scotia this weekend for the Canada East Wrestling Festival.
