Emergency crews are on scene following a serious two-vehicle collision on the eastbound lanes of Highway 417 just past Arnprior, before the Kinburn exit.
We can confirm one vehicle has overturned in the crash. The number of people involved and the extent of injuries are not yet known.
Traffic in the area is heavily impacted, and motorists are being urged to avoid the stretch of highway while emergency responders work to manage the scene and assist those involved.
Several drivers stopped to help immediately after the collision.
