The Renfrew OPP says a weekend incident required a heavy police presence along Lochiel Street.
Officers warned residents to avoid the area as they responded to the incident during the overnight hours on Saturday, April 25th. They would eventually clear the scene just before 3:30 am, noting that there was no threat to public safety.
The OPP did not mention if an arrest was made during their response but did thank the public for their patience regarding the matter.
