TODAY: Get some gym time in today at the myFM Centre! The town will open up the Home Hardware Gymnasium to the public for a free session every Monday from 5:00 to 7:00 pm. Ages 8+, registration required. Stick around afterward for a game of pick-up basketball from 7:00 to 9:00 pm for just $2 per person. Ages 13+, sign up online.
TODAY: Monday night is Kids Craft Night in McNab/Braeside! This week, the township hosts a workshop where kids ages 6-12 can make hand knit stuffed whales! 5:30 to 7:00 pm at the John A. Gillies Rec Centre on Sarah St. East. Cost: $16 per youth, limited spots available. Pre-registration required, do so online.
TODAY: SADC Pontiac hosts their 2026 Retail Summit from 8:30 am to 4:00 pm this Monday, April 27th! The one-day conference will empower local retailers with practical tools to boost sales, service, and success. More info here.
TOMORROW: Get ready to Craft and Connect this Tuesday from 6:00 to 7:00 pm with the Renfrew Public Library! This week, the library will take kids ages 7-13 through publishing their very own zines! Limited spaces, register online.
TOMORROW: Learn one of the fastest growing sports in the world as the Town of Renfrew hosts beginner pickleball at the myFM Centre every Tuesday at 5:00 pm. Join other beginners in a relaxed, welcoming environment to learn the basics, practice your skills, and enjoy fun, friendly games. No experience needed—just bring your enthusiasm. TOMORROW: The Renfrew County 55+ Games continue this Tuesday, April 28th as Chalk River’s Lions Hall hosts Euchre starting at 1:00 pm! Find out more about the games on the Ontario Senior Games Association website.

Renfrew Minor Baseball has released it’s Week 1 Schedule, with all age groups starting their season between May 6th and May 9th: T-ball– Wednesday 5:30 to 6:30, Rookie– Tuesday 5 to 6:30, Minor– Tuesday and Thursday 6:30-8, Major– Monday and Wednesday 6:30-8 , Jr/Sr– Tuesday and Thursday 6:30-8
Renfrew Minor Soccer will host a Meet the Coaches night at the myFM Centre from 6:00 – 7:30 pm on Monday, May 4th. There will also be a Referees meeting at the arena at 5:30 pm on Wednesday, May 13th.
