Members of the Whitewater Sno-Goers have one last celebration to mark the start of their offseason.
The local snowmobile club has officially renamed the former Springer’s Mountain Trail to McGregor’s Pass, dedicating the mountain route west of Haley Station in honor of the young son of their club’s president following his untimely death over the winter.
That announcement comes on the tail of a season dedicated to ensuring McGregor Madigan’s presence was felt in everything the team did, including merchandise inspired by his time as a young volunteer and a revamp of their annual ride fundraiser.
Sno-Goers members are looking forward to a slower summer season, with their directors planning to reconnect and reflect at a personal BBQ weekend at the Madigan family property.
They thank everyone who supported them through a heavy time for everyone involved, including their advertisers, helpers, and trail groomers, as they look forward to next winter.
