Smiths Falls Police say a wanted suspect tied to a 2025 intimate partner violence investigation has been arrested with help from the Renfrew OPP.
Police say a 51-year-old man was located and taken into custody April 10. He faces two assault charges, one count of failing to comply with probation and one count of unlawfully in a dwelling.
The accused was held pending a bail court appearance.
Police have not released the identity of the accused.
The investigation stemmed from a December 2025 incident.
