While the ground outside may be saturated, “Gourmet Backyard BBQ” is the them for this year’s Doctor’s Dining Duel, coming up April 23rd at the Nick Smith Centre.
That’s spokesperson Mark Nibourg, who tells us the game plan.
The appetizer-creations comprise the principal annual fundraiser for the Arnprior Physician Recruitment Committee.
In addition to convincing potential new physicians that Arnprior is a wonderful place to live and practice, an enticement is the availability of shared-practise facilities.
Nibourg tells us that In the recent Ontario Budget, the Province made a commitment to connect more people with local family doctors- and Arnprior will be among communities benefitting.
The Physician Recruitment spokesperson says tickets are still available.
Nibourg extends acknowledgedment to the local firms that have helped make the event possible.
