Renfrew County Forest wants to share a major milestone with the community!
The county’s forestry division, which has cared for over 16,000 acres of local woodland since first purchasing the Beachburg Tract back in 1951, says their 75th anniversary has produced many beautiful stories from people who have traveled through the area, youth who planted trees as part of the local Boy Scouts, and those who knew the previous owners and their homestead.
They are asking residents and visitors to share pictures from their early years, the Beachburg Tract, or any other part of the forest, with their social media pages so they can celebrate the history of the Renfrew County Forest.
