Some local businesses and services will be taking this Friday and Sunday off as the Easter Long weekend gets underway.
Most grocery stores and other shopping options will close for Good Friday and Easter Sunday, including Walmart, Chris and Tanya’s No Frills, Renfrew Metro, and Giant Tiger. Both the Beer Store and LCBO will also close both days.
Those who need to check on prescriptions should take note, as Aikenhead’s Pharmacy will also be closed while Rexall will open from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Most municipal services and buildings, as well as chartered banks and local post offices, will remain closed on Friday and Sunday, as Canada Post will halt deliveries for both Easter Friday and Easter Monday.
The myFM Centre will stay closed on Good Friday and Easter Monday, but will be open Saturday and Sunday.
