The Renfrew Wolves had to dig deep to leave the big city with a win on Saturday night.
Renfrew outlasted the Ottawa Jr. Senators in game one of their CCHL first-round playoff matchup, with Sebastian Dzieciol scoring the lone goal 83 minutes into a 1-0 double-overtime thriller. Wolves goalie Ayo Ogini was stout, stopping all 33 shots against to secure the shutout.
Game two of their series heads to Renfrew this Monday, March 23rd, with the puck dropping inside the myFM Centre at 8:00 pm.
