TODAY: The Circle of Turtle Lodge presents Mother Earth Medicine Wheel Teachings this Friday at the BAFN Community Cultural Centre, 1 Ma-te-Way Park Drive! Open to the public and our Members on the third Friday of every month from 12:30 to 2:30. Bring your lunch and begin your Spiritual Healing Path with Sherry Dion (Member of Algonquins of Pikwakanagan First Nation) Knowledge Keeper and holder of the Foundational Medicine Wheel Teaching passed down to her 47 years ago.
TOMORROW: Join the Town of Renfrew for an exciting cooking adventure while the community dives into the rich flavors of Indian cuisine at the myFM Centre’s community hall this Saturday, March 21st! Divya from Nala’s Kitchen will teach the class how to make 3 different dishes including: ghee lentil rice, spiced fried potatoes and garlic rasam. Class runs from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm.
