TODAY: Take ‘er to Dacre this St. Paddy’s Day! The community will host it’s St. Patrick’s Day party this Saturday, March 14th, at the DACA Cenre, 111 Flat Road. Doors open at 11:30 am. Our kitchen will be serving our famous Irish Stew along with a variety of sandwiches, hot dogs and snacks all afternoon. Live entertainment starting at 12:30 pm!
TODAY: Whitewater Brewing Company, 70 Pembroke St. in Cobden, will welcome in guests from across the Ottawa Valley for a weekend full of St. Patrick’s Day festivities! On tap this Saturday, March 14th: enjoy Irish folk music at the pub as they debut their menu’s St. Paddy’s food features like Midnight Stout Lamb Pie and smoked salmon with honey almond crumble! Grab a seat, raise a glass, and enjoy a little Irish hospitality -Whitewater style.
TOMORROW: The Opeongo Bowldrome presents the Strike 13 Scotch Doubles Fundraiser this Sunday starting at 10:00 am! This will be a 5 game scotch doubles event where you and your partner will alternate frames throughout your game. Cost: $80/team. Average will be based on 250 where you get 80% of the difference as handicap. This is to help some of our local bowlers heading to Provincials.
TOMORROW: It Takes a Village Dog Rescue will host a meet and greet session for some of their adoptables at the Arthur St. PetValu in Arnprior this Sunday 10:30 am to 1:30 pm. Drop in to meet one of the cute dogs up for adoption, speak with volunteers, and see if you might be someone’s forever home!
