The Ottawa Valley’s theatre community has lost a man who was known by many as larger than life.
Friends and family are mourning following the announcement that Renfrew-native Lawrence Mahusky, who spent countless years entertaining and teaching locally, died at the age of 60 on Wednesday, March 11th.
In an obituary supplied by Goulet Funeral Home, Lawrence is remembered for his voice, which was ever present at many weddings and funerals and singing on Sundays in many area churches. He is also remembered fondly for his love for helping the community and his work with special needs students in Renfrew County.
Mahusky will be missed by his many producers, executives, and fellow actors.
A funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Francis Xavier Church in Renfrew starting at 11:00 am on Friday, April 10th.
