TODAY: Renfrew’s Boston Pizza invites you to join them for a very special night of Music Trivia, Wednesday night starting at 6:00 pm. Chris Cooper from CCDJ Events hosts as the night celebrates the memory of Renfrew Wolves pack member Kristina Lafrance. Teams of up to 6 can sign up for $10 per person, with 100% of the proceeds going to the Heart and Stroke Foundation. TODAY: Hospice Renfrew is hosting a special support group for people in their second year of coping with grief and beyond, every second Wednesday of the month from 4:30 to 6:00 pm inside their Albert St. office. They provide a confidential, safe space to connect with other grieving people with shared types of loss or who are in similar stages of their grief journey. The groups are held monthly and facilitated by our trained facilitators. Attendance is free but we do ask participants to complete a brief intake process to register by calling 613-433-3993 ext. 2237 or email grief@hospicerenfrew.ca
TOMORROW: Join Renfrew and Area Seniors Home Support for a St. Patrick’s Dessert Bridge Party fundraiser this Thursday starting at 1:00 pm. Drop by the Renfrew Legion, 30 Raglan St. South, to play some games while also enjoying dessert, refreshments and a chance to win door prizes as well as a 50/50 draw. TOMORROW: The Renfrew Public Library will host the Call of the Loon Singing Group from 1:00 to 2:30 pm every Thursday this month. This free meeting welcomes all voices- no singing experience required! It’s like singing around a campfire – it’s about connection, not perfection!
