Horton Township is looking for a helping hand as they celebrate the season out and about the community next month.
They have put the call out for assistance ahead of their Winter Carnival on March 7th, as Rachel with the township’s Recreation Department took to social media to invite interested residents to help with various activities and stations throughout the day, including the always popular hot chocolate station and a special assignment she say is perfect for any “cool dads” in town.
They are also looking for general help in putting the event on, opening up plenty of space for those who might be looking to fulfill their school commitments before graduation this summer.
Rachel reminded residents that it’s their volunteerism that makes vibrant community projects and events like the Winter Carnival possible.
A full schedule for the Horton Winter Carnival is expected in the near future.
