The closing of yet another major service in Eganville has prompted town hall to welcome concerned citizens in for a chat.
Township council and staff will meet with residents at the Eagle’s Nest, 178 Jane Street, starting at 5:30 pm on Thursday, February 19th, to discuss the upcoming closure of the local Bank of Montreal branch.
All are welcome to attend in person while space is available, with the option to attend the meeting virtually through the township’s YouTube channel.
BMO first announced back in November that they would close their doors in Eganville permanently on June 19th, ending a tenure within the community that dates back to 1898.
